Curaleaf Set To Open 2 Additional Florida Dispensaries

Curaleaf is set to open up another two dispensaries in Florida. Their newest dispensaries -- which have already been approved by Florida's Department of Health -- are to be situated in Clearwater and Tampa.

The opening of these stores would see Curaleaf's Florida footprint grow to 30 total dispensaries within the state. We reached out to representatives from Curaleaf's Florida division, who estimated that these new locations would be opening in September.

Additionally, Curaleaf is poised to publish their second quarterly earnings after hours today. Analysts consensus for revenue estimates are roughly $109 million, with the high-end being $115 million. Consensus targets for adjusted EBITDA is approximately $21 million.

4Front Nears Final Hurdle To Further Adult-Use Footprint in Massachusetts

On August 6, the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission unanimously passed a vote that provided Mission Massachusetts -- a subsidiary of 4Front Ventures -- with the approval to begin adult use sales at their facilities throughout Worcester. 4Front's Worcester footprint includes a dispensary, a cultivation facility, and a processing facility.

4Front Ventures received a similar award from Massachusetts on August 4th, when they were awarded authorize to begin adult-use operations throughout their Georgetown footprint: retail dispensary, cultivation facility, and processing facility.

The company must still request, and pass, a "post-final license inspection" prior to being fully licensed for adult-use production and sales at their Worcester facilities.
